  I've never had to sell a home on Planet Earth, but when I left Galaxy N-17, I had quite a time trying to get my personal space sold.  I think I made every mistake in the book before I finally was able to sell it.  Now that I've said that, I must recommend you avoid making the mistakes I made, here are a few hints:
  • Interview a professional REALTOR (or 2 or 3!)
  • Ask to see a marketing plan
  • Ask if they use the internet to market
  • Realize that the agent nor the owner determine the final price.  The market does.
  • Be sure they are open 24/7 to market your property
