The well known  mountain community of Evergreen was first settled in the 1860's.  A popular tourist and summer retreat for the first half of the 20th century, access to I-70 has made the area an easy commute to the metro area.  In the 90's property values have risen with the advent of large, mountain design homes nestled on large pine covered lots.  With Jefferson County Schools, convenient shopping and services, and the major attraction of living in the mountains of Colorado have combined to make Evergreen a very desirable place to enjoy the Colorado lifestyle.
