Castle Rock,
Colorado
Douglas County
Castle Rock is a natural choice for folks who want a
small town atmosphere but with the convenience of city amenities close
by. Located due south of Denver on I-225 and north of Colorado
Springs, Castle Rock has it all, easy access, views, open space,
affordable housing and friendly folks.
The community concentrates on maintaining open space so we
can all enjoy its beauty. Large tracks of land have been set aside
for parks, trails and the city completed a full service recreational
facility in 1988. Eight miles west of Castle Rock, covering over
one-third of Douglas County is Pike National Forest, featuring magnificent
canyons, hiking, camping, picnics and trout fishing.
For golfers the area offers three private country clubs
plus two new public courses. The International Golf Tournament
is played annually at Castle Pines.
Castle Rock has many covenant controlled home developments
in various price ranges and styles.
